Kaiser Family Foundation, Beyond Health Care: The Role of Social Determinants in Promoting Health and Health Equity, explores the importance in addressing these social determinants of health such as economic stability, the neighborhood and physical environment, education, and community and social context. The authors go on to discuss approaches for addressing this important area of health care.
